Alun Bedding
Alun, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation, brings a unique perspective to his coaching practice.
An Experienced Coach and Consultant
With a 35-year background in the Pharmaceutical Industry, where he served as a statistician and internal coach, Alun's journey into coaching was a testament to his commitment and passion for personal and professional development.
Driven by his newfound passion for coaching, Alun embarked on a journey to enhance his skills. Starting with an internal leadership course, he soon realised his affinity for coaching and decided to pursue a diploma in Executive Coaching with the Academy of Executive Coaching. In 2023, he took a bold step and founded Alun Bedding Coaching and Consulting, a testament to his commitment to helping external thinkers.
As well as being a one-to-one coach, Alun has trained as a team coach. He works with teams to understand where they are on issues and uses his knowledge and skills to enable them to become higher-performance teams.
Coaching is a thinking partnership that allows professionals to shift their thinking. Alun’s style of coaching is non-directive and challenging, but supportive. He will ask the tough questions or allow silence to allow the thinker to think. He also uses fun and playfulness in his coaching, which brings energy into the room.
"I am passionate about climate change and, following a diagnosis of autism, neurodiversity. I bring both of these into my coaching.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy walking in the hills and also many sports, particularly rugby and cricket.
I also keep myself relaxed with a daily meditation practice. I feel this really has a massive benefit on my coaching."
