Driven by a newfound passion for coaching, I became determined to enhance my skills. Starting with an internal leadership course, I soon realised I had an affinity for coaching and decided to pursue a diploma in Executive Coaching with the Academy of Executive Coaching.
In 2023, I took the bold step to found Alun Bedding Coaching and Consulting, a dedication to helping extraordinary thinkers.
Think differently. Lead better. My coaching style is built on a dynamic blend: I am your toughest challenger and your loudest advocate, and I do this from a human perspective.
I use silence and challenging enquiry to spark clarity, balanced with an infusion of playfulness to keep the momentum high.
Whether individually or in teams, it’s not just about professional development; it’s about bringing new life to the way you work.
I am passionate about climate change and, following a diagnosis of autism, neurodiversity. I bring both of these into my coaching.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy walking in the hills and also many sports, particularly cricket, where I have been an umpire for over 30 years, and can be seen on the cricket field most Saturdays during the summer months.
I also keep myself relaxed with a daily Buddhist meditation practice. I feel this really has a massive benefit on my coaching in allowing me to be present in the moment with my clients.
